Congratulations to Justin Thomas on his 15th career victory at the RBC Heritage after a walk-off birdie on the first hole of a sudden death playoff. Congratulations are also in order for 25-year-old South African professional Garrick Higgo who captured a one-shot win at the Corales Puntacana Championship for his second career victory.
Thomas, who had gone more than 1,000 days since his last victory, fired rounds of 61-69-69-68, including a bogey-free, three-under-par 68 in the final round. The Kentucky native and two-time major champion led the RBC field in Strokes Gained: Total. Higgo’s rounds of 64-68-70-72 put him a single shot better than five other players at the Corales Puntacana, earning him the $720,000 winner’s check and playing status on the PGA TOUR through the end of the 2027 season.
