Congratulations to 29-year-old Englishman and third-year PGA TOUR professional Aaron Rai on securing his first career win with a thrilling 18-under-par finish at the Wyndham Championship.
Rai, who originally turned pro in 2012 at the age of 17, shot rounds of 65-65-68-64 to win the Wyndham Championship by two shots, after trailing by as many as four strokes on the closing nine holes. He led the field in Strokes Gained Total (13.9) Strokes Gained: Approach to the Green (8.75), and Sand Saves, while holing 78 feet of putts. He earned $1.422 million in his first win.
