Congratulations to 25-year-old Georgia native and second-year PGA TOUR professional Davis Thompson on securing his first career win with a thrilling 28-under-par finish at the John Deere Classic.
The former two-time All-American and SEC Golfer of the Year in 2021 followed a runner-up appearance at last week’s PGA TOUR event with rounds of 63-67-62-64 to win the John Deere by four shots, after leading by as many as seven strokes.
