We are thrilled to announce the popular professional golfers and YouTube stars George Bryan and Wesley Bryan – known to golf fans across social media as Bryan Bros. Golf – as the SuperStroke's newest brand ambassadors.
Over the past decade, the golfing brothers have amassed more than 200 thousand subscribers to their “Bryan Bros. Golf” YouTube channel where they have entertained their following with a seemingly endless stream of trick shot, head-to-head match challenges and an array of golf, and golf-adjacent, content.
Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, sons of longtime PGA professional George Bryan III, Wesley and George IV have both found playing success in their respective golf careers. If YouTube isn’t your cup of tea, you might recognize the Bryans from their season on Golf Channel’s Big Break in 2015. In 2017, Wesley won the PGA Tour’s RBC Heritage and currently competes on the PGA Tour. George, a three-time All-American at the University of South Carolina, played on the Korn Ferry and PGA Tour Latinoamérica before the duo’s social media fame, and he also occasionally caddies for Wesley.
The Bryan Bros. recently fulfilled their dream of buying a golf course, Indian River Golf Club in South Congaree, SC. Their plan to revitalize and rebrand the 30-year-old public course and turn it into a private club is being chronicled across their social media channels. The facility will also include Bryan Bros teaching academy and be accommodating to golf content creators who need a place to shoot.
“The Bryan Bros. project so much talent and personality, it’s a true pleasure to have them represent the SuperStroke brand,” says SuperStroke CEO Dean Dingman. “George and Wesley are likable and genuine in a way that uniquely resonates with fans, so the fact that they like using SuperStroke putter grips and are willing to share their experiences with SuperStroke with their followers is exciting to our team.”
Both Bryan Bros. had extremely positive experiences when they put SuperStroke’s new Zenergy putter grips in play. “After the first week I tested the SuperStroke grip, it became clear quickly that I liked the feel of it, then the results, putting it into play, were solid, too. I shot 63 in my first round with the SuperStroke grip, and I made nine birdies in another round, and have had some really good putting rounds,” George Bryan says. “That said, I didn’t want to push it over to Wesley unless the grip passed his test in a similar way because he’s more actively playing on Tour. Well, the first week he put it in play, he finishes sixth, his best finish of the year. More than that, SuperStroke and its people are just an awesome brand to represent with our content and in play. We understand now why so many PGA Tour players have SuperStroke in play.”
In addition to playing SuperStroke grips, the Bryan Bros will also discuss their relationship with the products and brand across their social media platforms. George is currently using the SuperStroke Zenergy Tour Pistol and Wesley is playing tournament rounds using the Zenergy Pistol 1.0. “Over the years, I’ve watched (SuperStroke user and brand ambassador) Jordan Spieth’s putter get hot and, when it’s hot, it’s hotter than anything the universe has ever seen. So, if it’s good for Jordan, it can be really good for me,” Wesley Bryan says. “I can’t wait to come up with a custom branded version of the grip, something exciting we can do to share with consumers.”
