SuperStroke Welcomes Trick Shot Star Josh Kelley as Ambassador

SuperStroke welcomes celebrated trick shot artist and golf content creator Josh Kelley as a Brand Ambassador. Kelley, a longtime user of the SuperStroke Zenergy Flatso 2.0 putter grip, will demonstrate the game-improvement benefits of SuperStroke’s putter and golf club grips across his YouTube, Instagram, and other digital platforms.

A long way from his beginnings as railcar repairman, crane operator and welder, today Kelley is a golf instructor making his way in the PGA of America program and one of the biggest stars in the booming universe of golf content creation. His @holein1trickshots Instagram account boasts a staggering 615,000 followers while his more than 120,000 YouTube subscribers to his @joshkelleygolf channel follow his trick shots exploits, golfing adventures, and golf match collaborations with some of the most popular golfing talents in the online entertainment space.

Kelley’s content is a lively mix of on-course challenges, trick shot demonstrations, instruction, and a boundlessly creative array of matches with inventive themes like “I Played the Bryan Bros for a $15,000 Rolex,” “Can I Break 50 with Actor Michael Pena?” and “Can I Play the Fastest Round Ever?” that show a commitment to conditioning his audience to expect the unexpected. All the while, he is making golf more fun and accessible for his growing fan base.

“We are proud to call Josh Kelley a SuperStroke brand ambassador because he’s a person and professional who embodies everything that’s honorable and admirable about golf, and he brings his audience entertainment and education in an authentic and wholly unique way,” said CEO Dean Dingman. “Josh is a great golf talent and extremely fun to watch, but more than that, he’s a quality human being who we look forward to collaborating with and sharing the message of playing better golf with better equipment, like the new SuperStroke REVL line of golf club grips.”

Kelley is enthusiastic about incorporating SuperStroke into his video content and sharing his enthusiasm for the game-improving qualities the grips provide

“I have always been a pretty streaky putter, I definitely tend to get a little handsy, and smaller grips would make that a bigger issue. As soon as I tried the bigger SuperStroke grip, I just really loved the way it felt in my hands," said Kelley. "And, even better, I started making putts with it and I have found, through making changes over time, I really love the combination of a longer-length mallet putter and the 2.0 SuperStroke Flatso grip. It all feels super-balanced. Nobody makes more design variations on putter grips than SuperStroke does, and that’s necessary because the way people grip their putters varies probably more than anything else related to the golf game. I’m excited to start playing the REVL golf club grips and to start incorporating SuperStroke into my videos."
