After Covid-19 made things interesting, Patrick Cantlay saved par on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to take home the victory at the Memorial Tournament. Just when a shot from the bunker rolled out further than expected, Cantlay drilled the 11-foot par putt into the back of the cup to close out the competition. With his SuperStroke Traxion Flatso 1.0 in hand, Cantlay was able to drain a multitude of clutch putts down the stretch to finish at 13-under, 275 total. The timing couldn’t be much better for Cantlay, as he looks to carry his strong play into Torrey Pines in the coming weeks at the U.S. Open.
SuperStroke also had a strong showing across the rest of the leaderboard, as 5 of the top 10 finishers had the putter grip in play. Jordan Spieth finished just inside the top 20 as well, as his solid play continues towards the next Major Championship. With 5 wins in the past 5 weeks, Team SuperStroke looks to continue lighting up the summer schedule.
