Introducing the Zenergy Tour 3.0 17” Off the Truck Putter Grip

In the spirit of celebrating our Tour-proven grip models, SuperStroke is excited to have recently announced the launch of the "Off the Truck" series. The new Off the Truck label highlights the fact that these grips have been developed with crucial input from tour professionals seeking feel, comfort, performance, and a competitive edge. The success players have had on Tour with these grip designs demonstrates that these models would also benefit a broad range of amateur golfers. So, we’re bringing them off the Tour Truck and making them available in this special offering.

The Zenergy Tour 3.0 17” putter grip is the newest Off the Truck offering from SuperStroke and provides versatile and effective putting grip options, as evidenced by players using this grip model successfully on Tour.

Golfer holding a Tour 3.0 17"

At 6.4 inches longer than the standard grip, the Zenergy Tour 3.0 17" offers golfers a range of unique benefits. Like any of SuperStroke's extended length grips, the Tour 3.0 17" can be used to achieve an armlock setup by positioning the grip up the forearm. Additionally, the Tour 3.0 17" grip can serve as a counterbalance option, extending the grip above the hands. This allows golfers to shift the weight above the hands and elevate the balance point of the putter, resulting in a more consistent stroke.

“This Off the Truck release is really cool because there have been some notable players using this grip on tour in the last couple of weeks, and they've seen a big difference with it. You’ll notice a couple of things that you can do with this putter grip. As a 17-inch grip, you can use this for an arm lock setup if you choose to unlock that arm lock potential, and this might be the most comfortable version for your game,” says SuperStroke brand ambassador and master club fitter Jake Morrow. “The other thing, and the way the guys on tour right now are using this grip, is as a counterbalance option that also allows them to extend the grip a little bit above their hands and get some weight going above their hands just because they prefer that feel. You’re going to see them gripping it just like they normally would. There’s no changes in technique, stroke, or the putter they’re playing. Rather, they have a grip option that they can throw on and they can get that weight and that feeling above their hands.”

Available in White & Black and Red & Black options, the Zenergy Tour 3.0 17" Tour Series putter grip features SuperStroke’s traditional and most popular putter grip profile. The Tour Series parallel design has a uniform lower hand profile to minimize grip pressure and maintain putter head path for a more consistent stroke.

As part of Zenergy, SuperStroke’s latest line of putter grips featuring enhanced Spyne technology, the Zenergy Tour 3.0 17” Putter Grip features new multi-zone texturing, and our patented no-taper shape for unmatched confidence to quiet your hands – and your mind.

Features Include:
  • Enhanced Spyne™ Technology – The new Spyne™ Technology has an improved, embossed ridge along the underside of the grip, engineered to make it easier to square the face at impact.
  • New Multi-Zone Texturing – Strategically placed textured in high-sensory areas designed to optimize feedback and comfort from the incredibly soft polyurethane outer layer.

Specifications:
  • Width: 1.23"
  • Length: 17"
  • Weight: 93g
  • Core: 0.6"

Hello Trent,

The longer putter grips do not extend the length of your putter as they sit flush against the end of the shaft. You are correct that the longer grip goes further down the putter. If you have any other questions you can reach out to Customer Support at CS@SuperStrokeUSA.com.

I have a 35" putter, and I’m looking to make it longer overall. Will this grip achieve this? Or will it just run longer down the shaft?

Hello Kurt, there is no tech port in the Tour 3.0 17" putter grip, so it cannot house a counterweight. If you have any other questions you can reach out to us at CS@SuperStrokeUSA.com.

Does Ricky Fowler use a countercore weight in his putter grip and if so, how much does it weigh?
