Congratulations to Finland’s Sami Valimaki on securing his first career win by a single stroke at the final event of the PGA TOUR’s FedEx Cup Fall, the RSM Classic.
Vailmaki’s 23 -under-par finish, on the strength of rounds of 66-62-65-66, put him in the Winner’s Circle for the first time on the PGA TOUR. The six-time winner internationally made 27 birdies and gained 10.354 total strokes on the field for the week. He also recorded 1.63 putts per Green in Regulation. Valimaki is the PGA TOUR’s first Finnish winner.
