Congratulations to 26-year-old Maryland native Chris Gotterup on claiming his third career victory at season-opening Sony Open while using a SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol 2.0 putter grip.
Gotterup’s rounds of 63-69-68-64 and 16-under-par finish were enough to secure a two-stroke win. The victory earned him the $1.638 million winner’s check and an early spot atop the PGA TOUR’s money list. Gotterup’s closing final-round stretch included seven birdies including a 2 on the 71st hole to increase his lead to two strokes.
He led the field in Strokes Gained: Total (12.871) and Strokes Gained Off the Tee (4.352).
