A logjam of talent sat at the top of the leaderboard on Sunday morning at the PGA TOUR’s Shriners Children’s Open. It looked like the day would provide a shootout for the title at TPC Summerlin, but Sungjae Im had other plans. The 23-year-old South Korean blitzed the field with incredible command of all aspect of his game, carding a final round 62 to win by four strokes.

He made several clutch putts throughout the week using SuperStroke’s 1.0PT putter grip, effectively eliminating any drama about who the champion would be. The victory sees Sungjae Im move to No. 21 in the Official World Golf Rankings and second in the 2022 Fedex Cup standings. It is also his second PGA TOUR win of 2021, as he captured the Honda Classic in March.

Im’s young career has been filled with memorable moments and stellar play that have catapulted him to the top of the professional golf world. He is joined by Stewart Cink as the only players to be named the Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year and PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in consecutive seasons.

The 1.0PT series trusted by Im is a modern twist on a classic design. The smaller overall profile features a traditional pistol-style with a more pronounced arc under the top hand extending into the butt area of the grip. It features SuperStroke’s advanced Traxion materials to help players maintain even grip pressure and boost consistency. Advanced Spyne Technology is specifically engineered to aid in repeatable hand positioning, allowing players to better square the putter face at time of impact.

One of the most trusted brands on all major tours around the world, SuperStroke’s team of ambassadors includes three-time major champion Jordan Spieth, and world-renowned putting coach Phil Kenyon. In addition to the company’s beloved putter grips, SuperStroke offers a full lineup of club grips allowing golfers to experience the benefits of SuperStroke technology in every shot.
