SuperStroke Ready for the Ryder Cup

SuperStroke Ready for the Ryder Cup

The 2021 competition will take place on the Straits Course at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, a beautiful and challenging layout designed by Pete Dye, perched above the shores of Lake Michigan. At the three-day event, nearly half the competitors trust SuperStroke grips on their putters or full-swing clubs. This includes brand ambassador Jordan Spieth

Jordan Speith and His Choice Grips

Jordan Spieth will be competing in his fourth Ryder Cup, after making the team thanks to a great 2021 that included a win at the Valero Texas Open and six top-5 finishes on the PGA Tour. If the Texan’s putter gets hot and his ball striking remains world-class, Spieth will be a major factor at Whistling Straits. You may recall his putting and short-game wizardry at the 2018 Ryder Cup.

Ever since bursting onto the professional golf scene in 2014, Jordan has trusted SuperStroke’s Traxion Flatso 1.0 model as the preferred putter grip of his Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS. It was at his side when he captured the Green Jacket and set a new scoring record, as well as at Chambers Bay when he won the U.S. Open, and again during miraculous closing holes at the 2017 Open Championship.

S-Tech Grips for Jordan

Jordan will also be relying on SuperStroke’s S-Tech grips on his full swing clubs. Having played them for years, he knows that the S-Tech provides the ultimate in feedback and control. SuperStroke’s most popular rubber grip, S-Tech, is constructed using a premium engineered compound that provides just the right amount of softness and tack. The added Cross-Traction surface texture ensures non-slip performance in all weather conditions.

So be sure to tune in this weekend as the top players from both sides of the pond compete in one of golf’s most storied competitions. It promises no shortage of drama, and plenty of highlights for Jordan and the entire SuperStroke family.
